Factory evaluation
Globalization and diversification of suppliers makes our customers seek certification and assurance throughout the production process. From BTI we help them in this initial work to ensure that the products will comply with the regulations in the market where the products are marketed.
We do all the research work to validate and confirm that the supplier has the capacity and means required to manufacture the product you want to import.
Our team of inspectors makes factory visits and evaluates production procedures at a technical level to ensure that the supplier can meet the required standards.
Approval and audits
To confirm and certify that the production companies at origin comply with all structural, environmental and human rights regulations, our inspectors are in charge of verifying, according to social and environmental responsibility criteria, the factories from which we wish to import.
We must ensure the positive impact on the entire production process.
We review and check the validity of factory audits SMETA, BSCI and others with our teams of inspectors in the field.
Quality controls
Development of Product Safety Review (PSR) with standards compliance for the different international export markets.
Collaboration with the main international laboratories Intertek, SGS, UL, STQ for product testing.

BTI Way of working.
1. Factory Evaluation
Technical visit to the factory and evaluation of it’s infraestructure, machinery and Quality, Social and Environmental procedures.
2. Production & Inspection Planning
Planification, in collaboration with the factory, of the production schedule, as well as the inspections at the different production phases.
3. Critical points & Sample Validation
Validation of pre production sample and definition of the product’s critical points, which will be parameters for the following inspections
4. AQL Definition & On site Inspection
Definition of the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) and on-site inspection on the production.
5. Findings Analysis
Study of the findings and No Conformities identified, and proposition of solutions.
6. Inspection Result
Issue of an inspection report with the final result: PASS, FAIL or PENDING.
1. Product Risk Assessment
Evaluation of all potential risks associated with the product (electrical, toys, food contact).
2. Product Safety Review Development
Based on the risk analysis, we develop a safety protocol in which all rules, laws and regulations are which includes all the rules, laws and regulations that the product must comply with.
3. Testing and Samples Management
Follow up with the laboratories for the product testing and management of samples recollection and shipment.
4. Results Analysis
Analysis of the test results to help their interpretation and proposition of solutions in case of deviations.
